Wavetec is expanding its U.S. public-sector customer base with a new deployment for Benton County, helping the County create a more connected and responsive experience at its service counters.
The deployment brings together Wavetec’s UNO-Q, Donatello digital signage with integrated counter-level notifications and acrylic counter lights, giving visitors clearer visual cues when their service is ready and helping staff communicate counter status more effectively.
With deployments across 30+ U.S. states, all Canadian provinces and more than 80 countries worldwide, Wavetec continues to support public-sector organizations with connected solutions that bring together in-house hardware and software to improve the way people navigate service environments.
The solution includes UNO-Q integration, successfully configured with Donatello, creating a connected flow between counter activity and the information displayed to visitors.
At each counter, Wavetec’s acrylic counter lights have been programmed to respond to service activity. When a customer is called, the light illuminates to provide a clear visual indication. When the counter is closed, the light switches to red, giving visitors an immediate indication of counter availability.
Donatello notifications have also been configured to display real-time notifications for incoming calls at each counter. This allows customers to see when they are being called while providing a clear visual connection between the queue and the service point.
Together, these capabilities are designed to make counter interactions more intuitive by giving visitors visible, real-time information rather than relying solely on verbal communication or manual direction.
For government service environments, small improvements in how information is communicated can play an important role in making in-person visits easier to navigate. Wavetec’s approach combines software, digital displays and connected hardware to help public-sector organizations create more coordinated service environments.
The Benton County deployment reflects this full-stack approach, with Donatello providing the digital notification layer while connected counter hardware provides an additional visual signal at the point of service.
This type of integration also supports Wavetec’s broader innovation-first approach to queue management, where technology is used not simply to manage queues but to connect different parts of the customer journey and provide clearer information throughout the service experience.
Benton County joins Wavetec’s growing portfolio of public-sector deployments across the United States. Other Wavetec government customers include Schenectady County Department of Social Services, San Diego County Planning & Development Services, Clackamas County Courthouse and Hennepin County.
These deployments demonstrate how Wavetec’s queue management technologies can be adapted to different public-service environments, from visitor check-in and ticketing to digital signage, counter displays and real-time service notifications.
