Wavetec Supports Solar-Powered Water Project in Skardu, Pakistan

As part of a global initiative for sustainable development, Wavetec proudly sponsored an Impact Trip to Skardu, Pakistan, organized by Father and Kids Camping (Dubai, UAE) in collaboration with the Dawood Global Foundation (Pakistan). Driven by the urgent need to improve access to clean water in Skardu households, this mission led to the installation of six deep water boreholes powered by solar energy, now providing safe, drinkable water to over 230 families in the region.

In addition to its environmental and social impact, the initiative brought together nearly 40 parents and children from around the world, offering them a chance to experience Pakistan’s culture, hospitality, and natural beauty in a deeply meaningful way. Wavetec remains committed to championing renewable energy solutions and advancing community-led impact projects that promote sustainability and improve lives.
