Job Description

• Design, plan, document and develop new hardware products from initial requirements through prototypes to production ready. Defines product requirements
• Maintain existing designs and develop new variants of existing products to add new features, deal with component end-of-life, etc
• Assists in the transfer of newly developed products from R&D to production and provides co-ordination between supply chain and production for new products
• Schedules, coordinates and manages multiple projects
• Determines, outlines, and interprets tests to verify product integrity in the design phase
• Manages and directs Engineers and Technicians in Implementing designs, performing and documenting test results
• Develops and maintains association with outside organizations and institutions pertinent to the interests and needs of the department and the Company
• Quality control of developed products and identifying bugs in existing products
• Provides second tier support to Customer Support Engineers
• Provides Technical Assistance to the Sales Team in gauging new business opportunities

Areas of Responsibilities

• End-to-end responsible for developing products and driving innovation according to product roadmap
• Responsible for product’s technical reliability and performance improvement
• Assures competitiveness and innovation of products and processes from a technological and design standpoint
• Ensures and consolidates that the growth of the technical “know-how” within the working group is shared and constantly increasing

Qualification and Experience

• BS/BE Electronics
• 3 to 5 year experience
