There was a dire need to reduce operational cost and improve efficiency in the reception area.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover patients faced difficulty in finding their way around the center\u2019s various departments. As many of the patients attending the heart center faced such problems, a solution was needed to entirely eliminate patient queues and organize customer flow.<\/p>\n<p>In order to improve patient experience and staff efficiency, Nyaho Medical Centre invested in a patient flow management system from Wavetec.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=&#8221;middle&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;5\/12&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;20954&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1617229384714{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;7\/12&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>Solution<\/h2>\n<p>In collaboration with its distribution partner Net-i Enginnering Ltd., Wavetec deployed a turnkey \u201c<a href=\"\/industries\/healthcare\/hospitals-and-clinics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patients Flow Management System<\/a>\u201d at Nyaho Medical Centre to efficiently organize staff, resources and patient queues so that its patients receive the right care at the right time in a comfortable environment.<\/p>\n<p>On arrival, patients get a ticket from Wavetec\u2019s advanced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wavetec.com\/solutions\/self-service-kiosks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"\">self-service ticketing kiosk<\/a> that intelligently routes patients between different departments. The kiosk is equipped with multifunctional software making it easier for patients to choose the required department. Once the ticket is issued the patients are registered in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wavetec.com\/solutions\/queue-management-system\/virtual-queuing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">virtual queue<\/a> for their specific department.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column][vc_column_text]<a href=\"\/solutions\/digital-signage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Integrated Digital Signage displays<\/a> show a variety of content; displays in different departments run different hospital videos and messages along with queue statuses, allowing patients to keep track of ticket numbers being called to be served in their respective department.<\/p>\n<p>To call the patients to the counter, LED displays and ceiling speakers announce when a patient is to be seen by the nursing staff.
