How does the eQ system Work:

  • A customer requiring a service walks in to your premises, finds a Ticket Dispensing Unit (TDU) installed near the entrance.
    ....................................................................................
  • On pressing the button given on top of the TDU , the machine prints a paper slip holding a unique ticket number, date, time and the corporate logo. On issuing the ticket the system checks whether the desired counter is free, if not, it adds the number to its list of waiting tickets.
    ....................................................................................
  • Upon receiving the printed Ticket from the TDU, the customer proceed to the waiting area. He sits comfortably and periodically checks the number displayed on the SDU.
    ....................................................................................
  • A change in SDU status is synchronized with a pleasant sound such as a chime to attract customers' attention. As the number starts flashing on the SDU the customer with that particular number proceeds to the counter number displayed on SDUs.
    ....................................................................................
  • The Ticket number is also displayed on corresponding Counter Display Unit.
    ....................................................................................
  • After completing the transaction the counter officer may press the NEXT button on the Teller Station to call the next awaiting customer.
    ....................................................................................
  • In case there aren't many waiting customers or the counter officer intends to leave the counter, he may press the CLOSE Button on the Teller Station. The system will thereby call no customer to that particular counter.
    ....................................................................................
  • There are instances when a customer requires off-the-counter service. In this case the teller puts that customer on WAIT from his TSU and calls others waiting in line for service. Once the off-the-counter service is completed, the teller can call the customer again. A flashing light is provided on the TSU to keep reminding the teller about Waiting customer(s). This system can put at most four people on WAIT. This system is also intelligent enough to refrain the teller from closing the counter in case of waiting customers.
