A Counter Display Unit is used at the counters to display the customer number being served at that particular counter. It is mounted on top of the counter or suspended from its ceiling. As a teller presses the NEXT button on the TSU indicating availability for the next customer, the subsequent Ticket number pending is displayed on the CDU for a defined period of time.
