Dubai Police signed an agreement with Global Information Technology (GIT), a local systems integration leader, to implement a centralized customer Electronic Queuing Management System to be installed in 10 police stations and traffic departments across Dubai.
The Agreement was signed between Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and Mr. Salim Abdalla, Chief Executive Officer of GIT.
The new queuing system called EQMS 'WAVETEC' will be used to control the walk-in visitors in the various stations and departments of Dubai Police. Customers are seated comfortably in the waiting area instead of standing in long lines until they see their number and the location of the teller on a big screen T.V. |

The cutting edge system is user friendly and it uses the latest technology like soft teller station units and a touch screen ticket dispenser that shows stunning graphics, multi-lingual pages and ticket printing, and handles over 60 categories.
In addition, the system has an LCD based status display that can play public awareness PowerPoint presentations and movies. The system will be managed, controlled and monitored from Dubai Police Head Quarters, and real time statistics reports on teller staff performance, service performance, waiting time, and other indicators will be generated for police station managers and head quarters directors.
To ensure that customers are being served efficiently, a Customer Feedback System will be implemented at every police station and integrated with Dubai Police Public Opinion center. |
